The UK Driving Test

l platw.jpg

The government recommend at least 30 hours driving tuition from scratch with a qualified instructor or a combination of driving with a parent or friend (with suitable insurance of course) and with a driving instructor. A qualified instructor will be able to ensure your driving skills are up to standard and be able to guide you through what is required to pass the practical driving test.

To be able to book a practical driving test you must first have passed the theory test. I recommend the ‘Official DVSA Theory Test Kit’ which is an App costing £4.99. Studying using the app and combining this with reading the Highway Code will get you through the test.

You can start learning to drive before you pass the theory test but its best to get the theory done as soon as possible as this will give you confidence and saves you money in the long run.driving licence

We specialise in taking students through the Folkestone Driving Test Centre and whilst the objective is to getting their licence, students are also taught more advanced defensive skills to make them safer drivers.
